While we usually tend to cook with plant based ingredients from time to time we indulge in some sinful, luscious treats.

The Parfait was a gift from the ever swarthy French, their love of amorous decadence shows in their food. I love parfaits on my birthday; I grew up looking forward to a fresh, semi-frozen, chocolate treat after a dinner of chicken and potatoes.

In our kinky little universe, the parfait is a sweet tease for a submissive who might be bound for your entertainment. Occasionally, it is a sweet treat to comfort the soul after a particular intense scene. The variety of flavors a parfait can include compliment kink very well.

The foundations of a parfait are whipped cream; yogurt, pudding or ice cream; nuts or crushed graham crackers, and some kind of fruit. It is not the healthiest of treats, there is minimal nutritional value even if prepared with fruit. But its a fun decadent treat that can be prepared ahead of time, waiting for you in the refrigerator for when the time is right.

This list is limited only by your taste buds and imagination!
• graham craker crumbs
• 2 different kinds of pudding – prepared per pkg
• cool whip topping
• crushed nuts (almonds, pecans, macadamias, etc.)
• frozen yougurt/ice cream (silk chocolate is yummy!)
• lady fingers/Nilla wafers
• berries (strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, or mix)
• bananas (sliced and tossed with 1 tsp lemon juice)
• carmel topping
• carob/chocolate chips
• dates
• cherries

It is best to prepare parfaits in tall, cylindrical dishes, like a champagne flute. Line the bottom of the glass/bowl with graham cracker crumbs for the
‘crust’. Layer your pre-prepared ingredients as
shown in the pictures. If using ice cream/frozen
yogurt, allow to soften at room temperature
until easily stirred and slightly liquid. Repeat
layers until the glass is full. Top with cool whip
and garnish with fruit.  Chill in refrigerator
until ready to eat.

No matter what your preferences of cuisine –
American, Mediterranean, or vegetarian,
vegan – the parfait can be prepared to
satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.

Bon Appetit !
